I’m a housewife, and there are probably many more people who do this better than me :). However, one day my kids asked me if I wanted to make apple juice since they can’t get it from stores anymore (they’re picky). I said okay, but didn’t know how to make it. So here we go….
Many of you are busy people and don’t have time or energy for something like this, especially on a Sunday morning. However, my kids had never tried apple juice before, but they still loved it! So if you want to give it a try, here’s how to make an apple juice recipe in less than 5 minutes.
3 Easy Steps For How To Make An Apple Juice?
6 apples (I used pink lady) or any other kind of apple you like. I chose pink ladies because it’s sweeter and more accessible for my kids to drink without adding sugar. But definitely, the fresher ones are better, if you can find them.
1/2 lemon Tip: juice the lemons before I cut them into halves.
- Step 1) Wash the apples and cut them into small pieces, if necessary.
- Step 2) Put all of the ingredients in a juicer or blender and start juicing.
- Step 3) Enjoy the juice with a spoon or straw. Be careful! It’s delightful and tasty! If you don’t like to use stainless steel, you can add some water so that your kids can drink more easily. I don’t know how much it is, maybe 1/3 cup or so for each kid. I didn’t pay attention to the amount and just kept putting apples into my juicer until they’re all gone. 🙂 😛
Tip: If you have two grownups, try to squeeze those apples as fast as you can since kids get bored pretty quickly.
I didn’t know what kind of apple juice you guys like, so I ask my kids, “do you want to drink something sweet?” They both said yes, so here we have it – fresh apple juice with no additives nor sugar added.
In the end, they even asked for more! Yay! I hope you like this simple apple juice recipe as much as we do. I’m going to make more next time!
